Plains Community Ambulance service

who we are

Plains Community Ambulance is a not-for-profit Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support ambulance service. Our Montana-licensed EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and paramedics provide emergency medical and trauma care and transport for Plains, Montana and the surrounding Sanders County community. We also provide inter-facility transport services between Clark Fork Valley Hospital and other regional medical facilities.

The Plains Community Ambulance primary service area extends 13 road miles north on Hwy 28 to mile marker 12, 19 mi east on Hwy. 200 to Perma Bridge at mile marker 95, 24 mi south on Hwy. 135 to the Sanders County line at mile marker 7, and 12 mi west on Hwy. 200 to mile marker 64. Mutual aid agreements extend the service area to all of Sanders County servicing a county population of about 11,000.
